The company was founded in 1961 by Ubaldo Elli, who immediately decided to use his surname as a trademark by simply changing the final "i" to "y". In 1969, with the "Carezza" brand, the production of support stockings began and distribution expanded throughout the country. In 1978, the three sons joined Ubaldo in running the company which opened up to the international market. In the following decades, until today, Elly operates in close relationship with the territory, without foreign relocations, strongly believing in the value, even social, of the true "Made in Italy": its production chain, made up of internal employees, suppliers and by specialized craftsmen for particular processes, it opens and closes within a radius of 20km;

The ISO 9001 management system, based on precise checks during the various processes, guarantees the quality of the production and maximum assistance to satisfy customer requests. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certificate guarantees compliance with the human-ecological requirements of the products. Today Elly is able to produce over 400,000 pairs a month.
